Pest Patrol Spiked Systems
		Fed up with birds making a mess of your premises? The Pest Patrol deterrent spiked systems discourages roosting & perching. This highly effective bird control system consists of stainless steel spikes (in a variety of configurations) mounted on a polycarbonate base. The system (correctly installed) provides a harmless, discreet and effective bird control solution. The deterrent spikes can be fitted to most outside string courses, ledges and cornices, preventing pigeons and gulls from alighting on ledges and leaving unsightly, hazardous droppings. Spiked systems are ideal for 'medium pressure' infestations, but are not suitable where birds are nesting.

Pest Patrol Sprung Wire Systems
		This highly effective pest control system consists of nylon covered, stainless steel springs and wires tightly fixed between stainless steel pillars. The system (correctly installed) is so discreet as to be barely noticeable. The sprung-wire system can be fitted to most outside string courses, ledges and cornices, preventing pigeons and gulls from alighting on ledges and leaving unsightly, hazardous droppings. Sprung-wire systems are ideal for 'low pressure' infestations, but are not suitable where birds are nesting.

Pest Patrol Netting Systems
		Unwanted birds on your buildings? Netting Systems are almost always the answer. If pigeons have been taking a fancy to your premises, carefully installed netting is the best way to exclude them. Netting can be used outdoors, wherever birds are fond of perching or roosting. Pest Patrol can install bird control netting systems in all shapes, sizes and colours - careful design and considerate installation will minimise the visible impact on the appearance of your building. We'll carefully tailor the netting and fit it over whole areas such as canopies, shelters, bridges and signage.

Bird Control by Trapping A number of removal methods are available to us including humane trapping. Our experienced operatives will always identify the best solution for your individual case. For example, where a flock of birds is involved, we disrupt flock organisation by trapping and removing birds from the top of the social order. Successive cycles of humane trapping will reduce flock sizes to manageable proportions, and bird pest control is achieved efficiently and with the minimum of disruption. Any trapping program requires a careful inspection of the premises, and consideration of all circumstances relevant to the infestation.
Shooting Unfortunately, and as a last resort, certain bird problems require physical methods of control. Where control by shooting is required, such operations will to be conducted by Pest Patrol marksmen trained to ensure that control is achieved in a safe, humane, and discreet manner. Any Pest Patrol shooting operation should be conducted at night, with culled birds removed from site with minimum fuss.
Bulk Fouling Removal Birds do make a mess and it's acidic, dangerous and unsightly. Pest Patrol are fully experienced in providing a specialist bird cleaning service that offers a fast cleanup with registered disposal. The clean up will use either jet wash and/or physical removal to ensure bulk debris has been removed. Should it be considered necessary, applications of pesticide and disinfectant may be considered dependant on circumstances. The bird debris is transferred to registered waste disposal sites by vehicles that are registered as waste disposal carriers in accordance with current legislation. Bird waste may often be in inaccessible or hard to reach areas. Unsightly bird mess high up on buildings presents few problems for us. We are fully experienced in the safe operation of most types of access equipment. Because there are a number of very dangerous diseases that are carried in bird debris, removal & disposal should only be conducted by suitably qualified and experienced personnel.
