| Company History |
In early 1999 Reflex Environmental was started up by Peter Wordingham, who left
his job as Area Manager at Terminix (Cambridge).
Initially Reflex dealt with private householders, via adverts that appeared in
local publications. Between 1999 and Spring 2000 the contract portfolio also
grew, with Reflex servicing clients in the catering, private healthcare, commercial
office and retail sectors of commerce.
At this time, Reflex deliberately refrained from approaching the Food Manufacturing
and Pharmaceutical Sectors, recognising that the resources to offer the necessary
level of service we beyond the scope of the company at that time.
In April 2000, we changed the name to Pest Patrol, and incorporated the company.
Pest Patrol Ltd was born.
In July 2000 the company was thriving, and moved into new, purpose designed offices
and stores, near Duxford, Cambridge (the present address).
In June 2001, the company, after a very successful first (post incorporation) year
the company was able to expand further, establishing new regional offices in Birmingham
(West Midlands region) and Watford (London region).
